Want answers to Carters baby clothing rashes, well here you go. Carters baby clothes are causing babies to develop rashes. The clothes which have no tags sewed into them have caused rashes in at least four hundred babies. The rashes have occurred on the babies backs. This prompted a warning to be issued regarding these pieces of clothing
The warning has been issued for baby knit body suits, pajamas, and shirts. The clothes that are causing the baby rashes are from the fall 2007 clothing line. Many people have theorized that the babies are contracting contact dermatitis from the ink that is on the iron on labels that are ironed on to the pieces of baby clothing. The label that is causing the contact dermatitis has a raised surface with a solid background. This warning affects approximately one hundred and ten million pieces of baby clothing.
Many people do not think about the clothing that they purchase for their infants and children. Carters is a very popular brand of infants clothing. Many children could have contracted rashes if this problem was not brought to parents’ and consumers’ attention. In today’s economy many products have been recalled or have defects that go undiscovered for a while. We need to better regulate the clothing products that are purchased for children. There needs to be further research done to see if other inks and dyes used in baby and children’s clothing can also causes rashes.
Carters baby clothing has not been recalled. There has only been a warning issued about the possibility that your child may develop a rash if they wear the affected products. If your child does develop a rash, then you should go to a doctor to have it treated and discontinue allowing your child to wear those articles of baby clothing.
If you are a parent who has a child with skin issues you should consider buying organic clothing for your children. Organic clothing does not use harsh dyes and are very natural pieces of clothing. This type of clothing is more expensive than regular clothing but it will help to prevent your children from getting rashes from contact dermatitis and irritated skin.
Hopefully, there will be no further issues involving Carters baby clothing or any other clothing brand. We need our children to be comfortable when they wear their clothes. They shouldn’t develop a rash from just wearing a piece of clothing. We need to protect our children; they are our most precious resource.

My mother put me to sleep on my stomach or my side, that is the way that they did it back then, but times have changed. Due to a fear of SIDS, many experts say to put your baby down on their back allowing freedom for the nose to breathe. One side effect of laying your baby down in the same position every night is they may develop Plagiocephaly or flat head syndrome.Flat head syndrome can affect as many as 1 in 20 babies. With this rate increasing due to the before mentioned reason, more and more babies will have plagiocephaly. Is there a cure for flat head syndrome?

How do I stop flat head syndrome? It makes sense that the harder the surface is the better chance of plagiocephaly occurring. Therefore you can try a product such as Sleep Symmetry System, which is bedding that allows for proper sleep rotation and lessens flat head syndrome.

Flat head syndome is worrisome, but is a small price to pay inorder to decrease the chance of SIDS. Do your best to decress flat head by using products designed to help.

In this day and age boob feeding is full of choices that stretch from formula vs. breast feeding, pumping and dumping, and of course the different techniques to stop the effects of breast feeding. If parenting is about sacrifice, boob feeding over formula is where the pain really starts.

First, the obvious pain is the physical treatment the mother receives. The first few days are a good indicator of what is to come… pain. The monotony of the boob feeding hand cuffs. If you are not feeding your baby then you are strapped to a machine, being milked like the happy cows of California.

Secondly, there are the sharper pains. The pains that the mother feels as the baby’s teeth starts to come in and the chompers don’t know what they are biting. The pain of working long days and filling up as your baby sits in day care.

Finally, there is an emotional pain. As the mom and baby grow closer through boob feeding, the father stands at a distance, only remembering what was his and what he is no longer allowed to touch.

Sacrifice.

As if having a baby is not scary enough, you have to consider what will happen to the baby that you have now: your cat. This is one of those topics that everyone will have an opinion on. People will say that cats and new babies don’t mix, they will tell you that there is no problem with having the fur balls, and then others will tell you that they will pass their four legged diseases directly to your baby, by just being in the same room.

Every cat has a different personality, curiosity level and aggression, so I won’t tell you if you should keep your cat or not. But absolutely, without a doubt you need to keep your cat out of your baby’s crib and out of your baby’s room. So how do you keep your cat out of your baby’s room while you want to keep the door open to hear your baby crying or air out the smell of the diaper genie?

One answer for cat and new babies is a sliding screen that can be opened and closed independently of its normal door. These doors are mainly used for outside use, can work well as screen that you can see your baby through as well as a barrier to spot your cat. This door and image can be found at the Lowes website.

The second option is to keep the door closed all the time. Even when I am asleep? How do I hear my baby? The answer is video monitor. This way you can hear and see what is going on, while keeping the cats out. You can get these monitors anywhere such as Baby R Us.

I hope that it works out between your cat and your baby. Just remember which is more important and some decisions are tougher than others. If you can keep them apart long enough it can help and I hope that these options give you ideas.

What Baby didn’t get Dad on Father’s Day: Robert Talbott Tie or Gift Card

Father’s Day, the only day that dads get what they want, when they want it…not! It is simply another day in the year, but on this day father’s receive cards from wife and children… occasionally, maybe, sometimes dads can also get a good gift. The long standing problem is the question, “what do I get for Dad?” Wives and children stop buying gifts when they are continually returned. So what should Baby buy Dad for Father’s Day, well here is a few idea: Quality Ties and Gift cards.

Upgrade your old faithful
Everyone at some point in their life buys their father a tie. The problem here is not the idea of the tie; rather the crux is the quality of the tie. You should not give a tie that 1. Is clipped on. 2. Is from a clearance rack. 3. Cost less than a Venti Mocha. Think bigger, better and more costly; think about the box that it comes in, the name that it carries and the quality that it is known for.

For example The Robert Talbott Tie is a quality tie that a father can hang in his closet with pride and wear on the special events. In general, anything from Robert Talbot has a line of great quality custom men’s clothing. It is a great way to spend money on a gift, because when your husband googles the tie, he will see how much you care.

The Gift Card
Ask yourself this question, “What does my husband like to do?” Is it golf, bike, work on car or maybe work on the house… then you cannot go wrong with the gift card. True that it is not creative, but I can guarantee that it will not be returned. Also, this card enables Dad to shop without guilt. As if it you have given him the OK to buy that new tool set without having to beg for permission or feel guilty that he exceeds the monthly budget.

You have seen it, sitting on your friend’s coffee table… a great book of their baby’s photos in a nice album. It looks almost professional, but you know that you must have one. Where did they get it? How did they make it? Where did they print it? This entry tells you how to make your own baby photo albums.

Taking Photos
The first step to any good baby photo albums is good photos. So how do you get good baby photos? We covered quite a bit of this in an earlier post on how to photograph your baby. Just know that it does not take a pro or a super costly camera to get photos that are good enough, big enough and sharp enough to make a good album.

Preparing
Once you have the photos, sort through the ones that you want to see in the album and put them in on folder that you will use for your baby photo album. You do this so you don’t have to sort through them later when online. You don’t want to upload 100 photos and only use 20; you will be spending all your time pushing the others out of the way.

Uploading
There are many ways to upload your baby photo album, I prefer www.kodakgallery.com. You can upload them directly to the site or you can download their software (which I never really liked). The best way to upload them in my opinion is to use the Fire Fox Kodak plugin. It is easy to install and easy to use; as simple as dragging the images to your browser.

Formatting
Once you take the photos and upload the photos, now you have to chose what they will look like and what order they will show up. Simply follow the directions after choosing which album cover you want and don’t forget about adding text to the second page to personalize it.

For many of us, our lives are filled with feedings, crying, full dippers, rolling the dice to see if we can eat out for dinner tonight. It won’t take too long before we take some time and consider how we are going to save for our baby’s college. Then the real question occurs, “Where will they go do college”, but that question is answered of course… they will go to the college that I went to. How can I do this? The answer is Sporting Logos in the right place and the right time.

So how does one get their baby to go the same college they went to? Simple. Brainwashing. Now I know that sounds bad, but they are too young to have a conversation about the professor to student ratio, the quality of the food and the awesome football team. So how do we do this?

Step 1. Dress them like they are already going to your college, with a woven jacquard. Step 2. Decorate the house like you live there with logo clocks. Step 3. Find accessories for your car, like you are driving there. Now it may be difficult to find such items, but the Internet is here to save you with websites like http://www.sportinglogos.com/.

With this plan in action you are sure to have one step up on your spouse’s college. It is only a matter of time before you baby will be humming the your alma madre song.

Your welcome.

There is a lot of stuff that you planned to get for your baby: Stroller, crib, car seat, but a baby website was probably did not make the list. It is in our generation that not only wants to show off our baby, but wants to use the Internet to do it. So how do I make a website for my baby? Well there are several different ways of doing this, all with a different amount of complexity and advantages. This is a quick list of free Internet tools that you can use to build a website for your baby.

Build a website. This is the oldest choice, and the most difficult to implement. Even within this choice there are two general ways to go. First you can do everything yourself: Design the site, host the site, build the site, maintain the site and buy your URL. With this option you have the most flexibility, but beware this has the largest learning curve and your finial work may not be as good and easier methods. The other method is to use a free template site like Home Stead. Pick a template and have at it.

Use a blog. There are more free blog sites out there then I can shake a stake at. If it is not Word press then it is Moveable Type, or whatever. The reason that they are so popular is because of their ease of use. Once you get the hang of it, you simply log in, type what you want to be published, images and text, and you are done. The drawback is it every post looks the same and it is not easy to change it without knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Use a social network. A social network website is one that host web pages for you , but connects those that use them together. So for example, MySpace allows you to have your own web pages (or space) on their network, where you can talk about anything (your baby). Though this is a fun social way of expressing the joy of your baby, many times the pages are ugly and not the best for multiple posts.

Whichever way you do it, take the time to show the world you baby through making a baby website. If you don’t have any idea what to do, your best bet is to start with a blog and link to it from your social blog.

Sleep is absolutely essential to a happy baby and in turn a happy parent. Every baby is different, but here is a few ways you can start down the road of sleepy bliss. These are just guidelines as you will find out what works for you.

Phase one
The sleep process starts in whatever room your baby is in before she goes to her nursery. The key is to transform that room into a quite room allowing for her eyelids to continue getting heavy and allowing for sleep in slowly work its way in. For example, if you are having tummy time in the front room, and it is about that time; turn down the lights, turn off the loud games (TV as well) and go prepare what is necessary.

Preparing for sleep means having a warm bottle, a clean crib, pillow (if necessary) and a good temperature in the room, do whatever you can to help yourself out.

Phase Two
When entering the room you will notice you baby getting a little crankier, but they do notice the signs and that it is sleep time.

First, get settled in. Don’t just slap down the baby and throw the bottle in the mouth. Wait for a minute; let them get used to your lap and the moment. Second, lay them down and feed them the bottle. If they begin to fall asleep with the bottle in the mouth, slowly pull it out. This will either wake them up and the will continue to feed, or the will allow it to slip out and they are ready for the next stage. If left in too long, the baby may wake themselves up by choking on the milk or they will become so attached to be bottle, sleep will not be possible without it.

Once the bottle is out of the mouth, move the baby to your shoulder. This is done by slowly moving her shoulders to one of yours. This may seem counterproductive as they may wake up some, but it is a great way to get some burping in before you put them down. If they have to burp and you don’t allow for this, they will throw up in their crib, causing them to wake up and you have lost.

Next is the biggest movement, getting up from the chair without waking up the baby. This is done with one smooth movement, while keeping the baby’s head pressed against your shoulder. Once you are up, take a minute to walk to the crib and pat your baby on its back.

Slowly lean over and lay your baby in the position that they are currently sleeping in. Most babies sleep on their back the first few months, but this will change when they start rolling over. At this point, place your baby on their side may be necessary.

Finally, make you escape. Don’t forget the milk and tiptoe out. Get familiar with your door, practice with your baby still awake. Become a pro and making the least amount of sound as possible. Out of the room consider getting some sleep yourself to better prepare you for when your baby awakes.
